Welcome to meoo. These terms and conditions govern your use of the meoo platform and the services we offer. By accessing or using our platform, you fully accept these terms.

User accounts and responsibilities

To use meoo, you must create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account:

Account security

You are responsible for protecting your password and account access. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Accurate information

You commit to providing accurate, current, and complete information upon registration and to keeping this information up to date.

Prohibited use

You may not use the service for illegal purposes, infringe on the rights of others, or upload harmful content.

User conduct

You commit to behaving respectfully towards other users and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or are used for activities that may harm the platform or other users.

Intellectual property rights

All rights, including ownership of software, websites, AI models, trademarks, designs, and content in meoo, belong to Menii ApS. Use of any material belonging to Menii ApS may only occur if prior written agreement has been made with Menii ApS, and provided that the use is in accordance with applicable legislation and good practice.

Restrictions

Unauthorized use, copying, modification, or redistribution is strictly prohibited

Reverse engineering of meoo's software or content is not permitted

Infringement of Menii ApS' intellectual property rights may lead to legal action and potential liability for damages

Your license as a user

User rights

  • When you register as a user, you are granted permission to use the service and the features it offers as intended
  • As a user, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use meoo

License limitations

  • The license applies only for personal use in accordance with these terms and conditions
  • meoo reserves the right to protect and enforce its intellectual property rights

By using meoo, you acknowledge Menii ApS' ownership of all intellectual property rights and commit to respecting these in accordance with applicable legislation.

Disclaimer

By using meoo, you accept the following limitations of liability. To the extent permitted by law, you waive the right to make claims against Menii ApS.

Disclaimers

Loss, damage, or other inconvenience

meoo and Menii ApS cannot be held liable for loss, damage, or other inconvenience that may arise from your use of the service, including loss of data, recruitment opportunities, or business losses.

AI-generated content

meoo uses artificial intelligence for candidate matching and assessments. Although we strive for reliable results, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Results, recommendations, and assessments should always be critically evaluated and verified.

Service disruptions

meoo does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service and reserves the right to perform downtime, maintenance, and updates without prior notice.

Data and content loss

Menii ApS disclaims any liability for direct and indirect consequential damages – including loss of candidate data, job postings, or other recruitment-related data – that may arise from the use of meoo.

Third-party content & links

meoo may contain links to or information from third parties, including job portals and social media. Menii ApS does not control such content and assumes no responsibility for it.

Website content

Menii ApS disclaims responsibility for any incorrect or incomplete information on meoo's website, and reserves the right regarding any typographical errors.

Force majeure

Menii ApS is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations as a result of circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, strikes, power outages, or other unforeseen events.

User responsibilities

Critical evaluation

As a user, you are responsible for assessing the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated candidate matching and recommendations before making recruitment decisions.

Comply with legislation

As a user, you are obligated to use the service in accordance with applicable legislation, including GDPR and Danish employment law.

Data security

As a user, you are responsible for taking reasonable measures to protect your devices and your data, as well as ensuring proper handling of candidate data.

Age restriction

The service may only be used by persons over the age of 16 with legal capacity to enter into employment agreements or act on behalf of companies.

Third-party software

Menii ApS cannot be held liable for losses or damages resulting from third-party software integrated into or used in conjunction with meoo.

Discrimination

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of meoo does not result in discrimination or violation of equal treatment principles in the recruitment process.

Acceptable use

The following rules apply to all use of meoo. Violations may result in immediate suspension or closure of the account, cancellation of licenses, deletion of data, and/or reporting to relevant authorities.

1. Security & integrity

It is not permitted to upload or distribute computer viruses, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious code.

It is not permitted to attempt to circumvent, disable, or test the service's security measures, including penetration testing, without prior written permission from Menii ApS.

It is not permitted to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, candidate data, or recruitment information through e.g. hacking, credential stuffing, session hijacking, etc.

It is not permitted to perform unauthorized interference with network traffic or the service's availability through e.g. DDoS, packet flooding, API abuse, etc.

2. Automated access & data collection

It is not permitted to perform scraping, crawling, data mining, or use bots for mass extraction of candidate profiles, job postings, or other content.

It is not permitted to use automated scripts, headless browsers, or similar tools to create accounts, generate requests, or circumvent API rates.

3. Illegal or harmful content

Threats, hate speech, harassment, bullying, or incitement to violence are incompatible with the use of the service and are not permitted under any circumstances.

Content that promotes or facilitates criminal acts, e.g. terrorism financing, money laundering, or human trafficking, is strictly prohibited.

Content that violates the right to privacy, e.g. doxing or publication of sensitive candidate data without consent, is strictly prohibited.

4. Intellectual property & data ownership

It is not permitted to upload candidate profiles, job postings, or other content that infringes on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.

It is not permitted to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, data structures, or AI models from the service.

5. Abuse of payment and subscriptions

Circumvention of license limitations, sharing of paid accounts, chargeback fraud, or abuse of promotional codes is not permitted.

Resale of access tokens, licenses, or recruitment services without a prior partner agreement is not permitted.

6. Responsible use of AI-generated content

AI-generated candidate assessments and recommendations must not be used as the sole basis for employment decisions without prior human verification.

The service's AI content must not be manipulated or presented as human-authored with the intent to mislead candidates or recruitment partners.

You are responsible for verifying the factual accuracy of AI analyses and complying with applicable legislation (GDPR, equal treatment act, etc.).

7. Sanctions & consequences

In the event of a breach of these rules, Menii ApS reserves the right to, without notice, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the service, including withholding or deleting candidate data, canceling subscriptions without refund, and as needed contacting Datatilsynet, the police, or other relevant authorities.

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent exclusion from the platform and legal action to protect other users' data and the integrity of the service.

These acceptable use rules supplement the other terms and conditions. If in doubt about whether specific behavior is permitted, we encourage you to contact our support at hej@meoo.dk.

Personal data

Menii ApS and meoo place a high priority on protecting personal information. We comply with personal data legislation, so you can safely use our services and our website. You can read more about when and how meoo processes your personal data in our privacy policy, which you can find on our website.

  • You can object to the processing of your personal data that is processed on the basis of legitimate interests
  • You have the right to withdraw your consent when your personal data is processed on the basis of your consent

Special provisions

AI technology

meoo uses AI technology for processing your recruitment data under secure conditions and in accordance with GDPR.

Third-party disclosure

Your information may be disclosed to third parties in accordance with applicable legislation and only when necessary for the service.

Data processors

All our data processors are subject to confidentiality and security measures as well as data processing agreements.

Termination and cancellation

Both you and Menii ApS may terminate this agreement under the following circumstances:

Your termination

You can terminate your subscription or close your account at any time through the settings in your profile or by contacting our support.

Our termination

We may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a violation of these terms, non-payment, or if necessary for legal reasons.

Data processing after termination

Upon termination, your data will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy. You can request an export of your data before termination.

Transition period

Upon termination, you will be given a reasonable transition period to export your data before the account is permanently closed.

Termination does not affect rights and obligations that arose before the termination date, including payment of outstanding fees.

Disputes and governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by Danish law, and all disputes that may arise in connection with the interpretation of the terms or use of meoo or its website shall be settled in accordance with Danish law before the Danish courts.

Complaint bodies

Consumers

Forbrugerombudsmanden handles complaints about meoo's general terms and conditions as well as marketing and advertising (the Marketing Act). In addition, they can handle complaints about e.g. missing disclosure requirements, third-party misuse, and good business practice under the Payments Act.
